Carol Faucheux Masson
At the age of 14, I studied Applied Arts before obtaining a Diplôme des Métiers d'Art as a costume designer. It was during a course on accessories that I discovered my passion for shoes.
From there, I acquired a diploma in shoe design.
At the age of 20, I began a career as a shoe designer with several Parisian fashion houses.
Working directly with manufacturing workshops, I develop my aesthetic and technical expertise in shoes and leather.
At 36, I'm imagining my own shoe collection, to be released in collaboration with the Sézane brand. Sézane, the brand I've been working with since 2015 and for which I design shoes and leather goods.
The story continues ...
Imagining collections, designing models, shaping a form, reproducing a pattern, choosing leathers and cutting them, sewing uppers, mounting uppers on lasts, pointing, displaying soles and heels: a diligent and complex process to beat the pavements and make the hearts of those who wear my shoes beat.
